Re: Few dust related questions...
That hasn't been my experience with my A200. infact I only had to clean it once and the normal cleaning cycle took care of it. the a200 has .. 2500 shots on it so far and I change lenses pretty regularly in all conditions.

Re: General Tips
I think this is true about all photos people take. I've noticed people remember things in brighter colours than they actually saw. while on vacation they don't see the garbage in the gutter, or they see it and don't remember it. And they always prefer the more saturated images because of that. it fi...

Examples from a fantastic Photographer
I wanted to post this gallery from someone that I regard as a great photographer that I admire very much. Anyone here that got here from sony P&S cameras may rember Bruce from the DPR sony talk forum. he shoots Leica now (theres some minolta heritage ..no?) and has used a D70 before that but I t...

Re: General Tips
I don't shoot people much but I did learn a few things. For head shots make sure the eyes always have the sharpest focus. Girls don't usually like real sharp pictures of their faces but I don't like defocussing. someone taught me to shoot one sharp and one slightly OOF frame and combine them in post...

Is it pushed all the way on? I'm thinking maybe something is making it stop from going all the way in and clicking into place ?

Re: Banning on DPReview.
The DPR forum software is defiantly the best. Dyxum I find un readable . I've tried and tried .. theres just too many forums that split the conversations up too much. when I first started posting there I was on a laptop at 1024x738 and it was impossible to see any of the pictures. DPRS embedded pict...

Re: A350 Images
Yes, but only certain ones, namely the 3600HS (D)and 5600HS(D) (I have heard of a smaller unit maybe model 2400HS but I doubt it's existence canse I've never see one) other flahses will work but usually only in manual mode. some thyrister flashes will work in a more automatic mode but you won't get ...

Hello from Ontario Canada
Another refugee from DPR looking for a quieter place to expand my skills. I used to shoot Minolta film cameras starting with an X570 I bought before I had any idea what I was doing and had a lot of fun until 1/2 my gear was stolen. I replaced that camera with an X700 which I liked but wasn't really ...

Here are a couple of shots from recent outings I'm just getting around to looking at now. This guy landed in front of me for a snack while I was chasing a bumble bee around. http://www.uranium-238.com/~stf/Glenn/DSC00079-1.JPG I love shooting dragon flies. These are very common here in marshlands an...
