Re: Trainspotting
Great Shots of Roberts Bank - it's where all the coal comes and goes isnt it? The close up is good too - quite an old loco. A few of my own large collection below.

Re: Birds 2011
Looks like a Redpoll to me. They are just slightly smaller than a sparrow and flit quite fast. I love the first shot. Not the one above I mean the lovely little red finches on the previous page. Having looked them up I note you dont get Redpolls in Maryland. I've double checked and it is a bird cal...

Low Light indoor gig - how do I best shoot?
Hi All - I need some advice on low light shooting indoors. My son is doing a gig at a local venue and I want to take some shots, but when I have tried before my flash seems to wipe out any colour from the lights and doesnt capture the atmosphere. Do I shoot with a flash and if so on what sort of set...

Re: CZ 16-80 S/H opinions and advice OR Tamron 17-50 f2.8

I would say though that £400 for an unboxed is a bit steep. £375 would be a better price. Mine only cost £475 new ...

Teleconverter.
Hi All. I'm thinking about getting a teleconverter to do wildlife and bird shots. I've got an A850 camera and my long lens is a Sigma 150-500mm. Any ideas as to which is the best to buy? Thanks.

Re: Mountain Shots
Thanks I'm hoping to get some more atmospheric ones in June when I go again. Maybe misty morning ones?Greg Beetham wrote:There doesn't look to be many places to go down the bottom of that ski tip photo, it's a joke..right?
Great mountain views ACIPotos, they deserve to be at max size I reckon.
