I don't think there is an easy way to adapt Nikon/Pentax lenses for Sony mount.

I'm happy with the Minolta 20/2.8RS on my A900.
It's small, inexpensive, and fast-focussing.
Corners are surprisingly sharp at F/8 but I never compared to other wide angles.

Why do you want to use this lens instead of a Minolta 20/2.8 ?

I got a new copy of the 24-85RS from a shop who had found 8 unsold copies. I paid about $200 and I'm very happy with that lens. It's my only zoom, all my other lenses are primes: ZA, Minolta & Sigma. I have a Transcend x133 16GB and Kingston x133 16G, no problems with my A900

I agree that we need more lenses, specialy non-that expensive (f2.0) and cheap (f2.8) primes and zooms (f4) I don't agree that Zeiss have to provide those lenses. I'm on your side when hoping for modern affordable lenses but... From a marketing point of view, cheap primes will probably only be DT. ...

Maybe because there are less Minolta lenses on ebay than new Sony alpha users? Your statement doesn't make sense. I agree with DK, dyxum is a good source to sort out what is good on the 2nd hand market. Konika Minolta lenses are more recent than Minolta lenses. But I find it hard to believe that adapting these designs for different glasses is impossible.
