I don't understand why I pre order cameras I always find one in stock somewhere long before my pre order gets shipped. I have a couple of weeks off from work this month and was wanting my A99 before next week. So I canceled my pre order at Adorama and bought one from the Sony Store. So I am set. So far I am well pleased. It is almost the same size as my a77 just ever so slightly bigger. 3200 ISO looks very clean and 6400 usable. This one is a keeper as I am becoming a EVF junkie.

Congratulations Greg, hope it serves you pleasantly.
I'm gathering as much info I can on the a99 before buying one, and I'm afraid it'll take a few months.
So, I'll be watching you...
