In the meantime how about a photo of the lens you acquired itself, a sort of still life project just for kicks, not that I’m suggesting any kind of kicking or similar antics, just yet anyway.

The lens will be here on Mon/Tues, and I'll post a pic as soon as I can! As for kicking it, as the surgery I had was on an arthritic foot, I'll wait for a wee while first!Greg Beetham wrote:In the meantime how about a photo of the lens you acquired itself, a sort of still life project just for kicks, not that I’m suggesting any kind of kicking or similar antics, just yet anyway.

Re: UW zooms: Your opinions.
Arrived this morning:
It's in excellent condition, only missing the Sigma front cap, but did come with a third party one. All I need to do now is get my stitches out, so I can get out to shoot with it!

Glad it arrived and is in good shape! I had the Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6 in Canon mount from 2006 to 2012 and I liked it.

Thanks! It is a lens I've hankered after for a long time, and I am delighted that something good had come out of something bad, (The accident that the compensation money that bought it came from!),Hopefully I'll have fully recovered before spring arrives, so I can take advantage of it.

Re: UW zooms: Your opinions.
Thanks, guys. I'll post some images once I get some that don't involve my bedroom! (I could have phrased that better!)

You should be able to do a bit of damage with that AA, nice looking bit of bottle at the front there.
