One of my pet peeves is the way video file naming restarts at 00001 every time the folder on the card is emptied. Why can't it continue sequentially like the photo naming does. With photos it remembers what the next number should be and continues along without a hitch. With videos it resets back to 00001 every single time. This forces me to rename my video files on my computer to keep from overwriting one another or to separate videos I want together into different folders. Who's the wise guy that came up with this system?

Okay, rant over. If there's a way to adjust this in camera please advise me.
