New Alpha compatible flashgun. Looks similar to Nikon SB-400
Sunpak RD2000: http://www.intro2020.co.uk/pages/sunpak11.htm
I don't have any indication as to price.
Would be interested to hear your opinions on this new offering. My view is that it may make a nice compact entry level flashgun; although one concern may be the fact that the flashhead being so close to the lens may lead to red-eye in portraits.

I dunno. it's not that much more powerfull than the built in. doesn't do wireless and only swiveles in one direction. From the looks of the picture it has the same cheap ISO hotshoe as the little sunpak slaves I used with my F717... they were loose and break very easily. it's good that it folds inside tho... still hopefully the sony version have the minolta shoe.
Might be nice to have if you need to travel light and might need a flash as long as it doesn;t need an adaptor. it'll at least save you some battery life on the body that way.
