f56am and f42am wireless question

Unread post by gio67 »

can both of these be used as remote/wireless flash and be fired simultaneously by the on camera flash, i have the 56 at present and would like another to back light/ give other options sort of thing, if they are, would all the features ttl etc still be available on both flashes, i know the 3600 is compatible but they are very scarce

thanks in anticipation

yup. all the Sony flashes so far except the HVl-F20Am will work wirelessly and be fully functional with TTL. even the older Minolta ones will like the 3600 and 5600HS. the 58AM adds some functionality among other 58AM flashes when on the full frame cameras as a controller.

Gio,

I have a f56 and a f42 and use them simultaneously with both an a350 and an a700. The one disappointment I've had is the wireless range outside in bright light.
