I own a Centon RF20 ringflash, and recently purchased the above adaptor to connect to my bodies. I've tried it on the KM5D successfully, but as this is "dispensable" would like to move over to the A200/300. I'm concerned that the 5D may have a greater voltage tolerance and with no access to a multimeter, am unaware of the voltage from the flash - is it worth risking it, or does anyone know for sure whether the adaptor will protect my precious Sonys?

It wasn't easy finding much about the Centon MR20, but this site reckons the trigger voltage is 4.38V

Cheers Greg!

Been experimenting with the ringflash alongside the 105mm macro but want to a) give it more mp to play with and b) team it up with the 50mm for portraits!
