When sony came out with the HVL-F20S flash I realized that there is hope to use my NEX-5 for advanced macrophotography. The idea was to create a optical fiber based adapter mimicking the effect of the twin flash. My DIY project gave birth the the fiberstrobe V5 twin flash adapter:
I can attach any kind of home made light modifier to the end of the fexible light arms:
But for 1:1 macros it works well without any extra diffusors.
