Hi guys,
I want to get into off camera lighting and bought a Yongnuo YN460-II flash and Pixel Pawn trigger and receiver for Sony. Alas, I don't get the flash to trigger with the Pixel Pawn set.
I checked the channel settings and tried them all. Checked and tried all flash settings on my camera and on the Pixel set, but still a no go.
Do I miss something or are these devices just not compatible?
Mark
Pixel Pawn doesn't trigger Yongnuo flash
Re: Pixel Pawn doesn't trigger Yongnuo flash
So, I tried about everything I could think of and were handed to me on another community: still no luck.
I think the flash and trigger just aren't compatible. I do like the flash though. It's a cheap manual flash, which can be triggered in WL mode and has a sync speed of 1/250 on my a580. The build is good for the price you pay: you can buy 4 (!) of these for 1 HVL-43AM!
If anyone has any other things for me to check, please let me know.

Re: Pixel Pawn doesn't trigger Yongnuo flash
I got an e-mail from Pixel with a pretty straightforward answer:
Dear Mark,
Thank you for your e-mail!
Our Pawn can’t support YONGNUO’ flashgun.
We don’t have software to solve this issue.
Thanks and best regards!
