First Scan

Unread post by Dusty »

Here's my first scan. I had to scan the photo as the mini-lab I used for the enlargements spilled a chemical on the neg and blotched it badly.

This is my buddy Steve and his Dad. Steve had just come back from 3 years in New Guinea, and his folks went to mett him at the airport. I took off work to go, too. Everyone else had de-planed, and we were all wondering if he missed a flight when he walks off in full native headdress and ceremonial mud make-up, with a "mom" t-shirt!. Yes, that's a bow, and arrows are in the tube! Pre-pre 9/11, circa 1985.

That's priceless, Dusty! It's too bad about the negative, but congrats on the new scanner.
