Thanks for posting. Those are not bad.

In short, if you have a macro lens capable of 1:1 you do not need the bellows - just a slide copier attachment able to fix to the lens.

Thanks for the advice Artington and David. I am now clearer in my mind what I have to do. I have the Minolta 50mm F3.5 MD macro lens complete with the extension tube enabling 1:1 photography. So I will start a hunt for a suitable slide copier to fit on to the lens and an MD to E-mount converter.

This slide copier will do the trick for you although you'll need to keep the bellows closed unless it's mounted on a rail.

Looks identical bar for name and price. Anyone with experience of using one of these on an Alpha? Apparently the recommendation is to use on a lens spanning 80-120mm. Could be tough to find one with Ø 55mm.

Those adapters are meant to be used with zoom lenses, and there is a sort of macro lens on it... I bougt one of those adapters and used as is on the Dimage A2 with disapointing results.

So I unscrew the lens and cut off about 1 centimeter in order to get 1:1 with an APS camera and the Minolta 50mm 2.8 Macro - the tube have 52mm screw size, I got a 52 to 55 step down adapter.

Bellows: I got a Minota bellows and replace the MD mount with an A-mount, using a reverse ring (at that time my brother worked at a jewlery and one of the jwelers helped me -the only tool I have is a screwdriver...
