I just made the best craigslist find--a Sony-branded camera strap for the early 80's Betamovie camcorder. Fitting it to my A77 will be a trick because (surprise!) this Sony accessory has a proprietary connector. One end of the strap has the easy double-back-through-the-buckle connector, but the other is a little metal hook with a sliding plastic auto-locking shroud.

And here it is mounted on my SLT-A77 with Minolta 24/2.8 RS (I thought it would be fitting to have as many different eras present as possible).

Nice strap KB. Much better than the ones that come with the cameras at he moment. I bet you'll get a lot of people wanting to know where you got it from
