Bon appétit! Do you have lots of theses salesmen along the street? Btw you also see them occasionally in France, but not that often.

Not everywhere but scattered. But if you go to the market place (bazar, marché). there are lots of them in different colors. A very good place for photography. :D

Good subject, but in my eyes there are so many distracting elements in the picture, competing with the man and his apples. I tried some cropping and masking to put more emphasis on the subject, if you want I can upload it here.

By all means, I would be very thankful.

Here is my version of "selling apples".
appleseller2.jpg
I cropped it tighter, and in lightzone I masked out the main subject. Inside the mask I increased vibrance (saturation of non-saturated colors) and outside I darkened and decreased saturation. It's probably not optimal - just 5 min. work - and there should be more attendance paid especially to the sand at the left side, but I guess you get my intention. Feedback welcome.

I didn't mind the original. the apples look better in yours but I think I might have tried a portrait orientation especially if there was more foreground in the original.

Thanks Markus, a much better version than mine. And Javelin, I'll give it a try. :D
