Concert Shoot Help

Unread post by lmlumpkin »

Hi all! Need some advice on upcoming concert shoot (Radiohead!) Using a100 w/ black Minolta 80-200 2.8 & monopod, no flash. Will shoot between f2.8-4.0 for low light, IS on, spot meter to faces and lock, manual focus, PS Elements 6 for post processing. Questions: What is highest ISO I can shoot at and get acceptable noise levels (subjective, I know)? No post processing noise reduction currently in use. Also, what noise reduction software would you recommend. Thanks, Mike

On the A100, don't go over ISO 800. ISO 400 is better and should be fast enough for this gig metered as described.
