Re: kingfisher
Welcome to posting here! Paul Genge of Sony UK had already referred me your posts on dPreview and your pictures have come to the attention of Sony Europe. I hope that they are able to contact you. We would very much like you to send some of your kingfisher shots in for Photoworld magazine too - they are most impressive.

Marvellous colours Gustav,
A very nice shot indeed and very crisp details on the feathers....
Thanks for sharing

Re: kingfisher
That is a really beautiful shot Gustav - thank you for sharing with us. Stunning colours and you have captured a great angle to show off the plummage across its wings. I expect you have some interesting stories about how you go about getting these shots that would be really interesting for us to hear - if you can bear all of the typing?
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

Re: kingfisher
Wait a minute, I have seen these shots in Dyxum. You have posted them recently. Nice work that you have.
Nevertheless, it's good to have your excellent shots on this forum too.

Re: kingfisher
Wow Kingfishers, vultures, dragon flies, landscapes. I am gob-smacked. Thank you to the Doc and Yildiz for the links. I am going to have to go and lie down in a dark room to recover from all those great shots. Great to have you on the forum Gustav, you have produced beautiful images.

Re: kingfisher
Wow Gustav, your images are fantastic. I am also a really big fan of kinfishers. The Malachite Kingfisher is my favourite of all. I think yours is the Half Collared Kingfisher. Maybe you can confirm this. I post a few of my images for you to see.

Re: kingfisher
More great pictures Robbie - definately not too many - you can not post too many great shots like that. #2 is my favourite with the ruffled feathers. It will be interesting to hear your stories of how you get these great shots in your part of the world compared to Gustav in Holland.
