Few Puffin photos. We got lucky as we were told the Puffins migrated a week before. But then we had to be the Puffin chasers as someone told us about few Puffins still being there at the lighthouse of Dyrholeay.

"Puff the magic dragon" gives away your age. I love puffins. Amazingly, such heavy stocky birds with relatively small wings can fly and migrate distances. They still survive and multiply despite predation by man, fish, and foxes over millenniums. They breed and multiply in zoos readily. Looking at all these sea birds, I can imagine the evolution of penguins. I wonder if, in the distant millenniums, they will evolve into a flightless bird. I think how pigeons evolved and developed into large Dodo-type birds. Thinking ahead.

I've only seen puffins in the zoo. It's nice to see shots of them in the wild and flying. Thanks, Sury!
