Sony 70-200 SSM

Having read reports of slow focus with this lens, I thought I'd give it a test run at the East Fortune Airshow. Hard enough to get a good shot at the best of times, I was pleased with both this result and the overall performance of the lens.

I bet the pilots could outpace the reactions of the 70-200mmm SSM any day! I was using mine at the Border Union Show and found it really quite difficult, with a fair amount of hunting, but got pictures which would have otherwise have been impossible.
