Hello.
I wasn't taking any photos in last few months, had too many other things on my head Anyway, yesterday I finally found a while to use my a200. I put one new photo in my long-time-not-updated gallery. C&C welcome. BTW: Happy new year to all!

Re: Just one image...
Once I read someone saying (I don’t remember who) that the three most important elements of a good photo were light, light and… light. And you have caught there an ephemeral moment of awesome light. Beautiful example of landscape photography. Thanks for sharing.

Happy new year to you too Hawk!
That's a very nice landscape photo. One of the nicest I've seen taken with the Sony 18-70mm kit lens.
Please keep shooting more and let us know.
Thanks

Re: Just one image...
Happy New Year Hawk! As Alfosno says, you have captured very dramatic lighting. I bet is was chilly out taking pictures on that day . I wondered about cropping in tighter on the brightly lit bit of the landscape and sky, leaving some of the darker areas out?
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

Thanks for your comments Yes, it was a bit chilly. Wind was too cold to stay without move more than few minutes.
Here is croped sample, just a a bit tighter.

I think I prefer the cropped one, but that could be just a personal thing
Hoping for a frosty bright morning tomorrow.

Good one Hawk, my kind of landscape
Your caption says (in the English version) "It is going to snow...." I would be tempted to add "again"
We don't see much snow in Rutland, UK these years.

That's a nice one. I played a bit with it in IrfanView (duck) and it responds greatly to some gamma correction, making it darker. It's getting mystic, the sun breaking through the sky... give it a try.
Re: Just one image...
Here in Poland it doesn't snow much this winter too. Whats on photo has fallen right before Christmas. Some fresh snow fallen shortly after I got back from my trip. And thats all. Few years ago at this time of year we had 1.5 meter of snow in my areabonneville wrote:We don't see much snow in Rutland, UK these years.
It gets mystic indeed, but seems too dark to me after such adjustement. As Birma said it could be just a personal thingbossel wrote:I played a bit with it in IrfanView (duck) and it responds greatly to some gamma correction, making it darker.
