Re: Let's post some panoramas
Some belters there guys. I have terrible trouble trying to keep the horizon straight and level. Mine often have kinks in them one way or the other especially at the end. I did one with a tripod once and that was much better, dead straight. I had to apply a little rotation but at least the sea was a straight line for a change.

Beautiful shot there Sury.

One from a couple of years ago. Taken from near the lighthouse at Ardnamurchan looking out to the Atlantic Ocean just before sunset.

Thanks Andy. Need to check the originals Andy. I was using 24-70 so it could be perspective "distortion" too.Birma wrote:Love that one Sury . I like the way the fields seem to be surrounded in a circle. Is it due to some sort of fisheye effect?

Re: Let's post some panoramas
Thank you Jeff.
Mike, that was an awesome panorama. I am finding the latest version of MS ICE 2.x better
at filling the missing pieces. (Almost) all of my panos are rotational ones, hand held, camera
rotating from one corner to other. I do one half of a "twist".

That's a wonderful pano, Mike, stunning scene.

Magnificent shot Mike.
Re: Let's post some panoramas
Done on a tripod with a nice steady rotation. Got nibbled with the dreaded midge though.
Scotland's great scenery provides numerous opportunities for stunning imagery, I just need to get out in it more often.

Re: Let's post some panoramas
The midge is a local small insect (miniture mosquito if you like) that loves to bite. The west coast of Scotland is famous for the infestation during the warmer months. I usually visit those areas between October and April to avoid the worst of them.
