It has been a while since I have visited this forum and must say the new look is very classy
The a700 has become a fantastic tool, I find this camera a pleasure to use. Here are some new shots taken recently ,the macros.. using the tamron 90mm macro lens.
Well done with the site, looks great.

Welcome back! That green wave looks like glass. Three very neat and varied shots.

What do you think about a crop of the wave, for example like this:wave_wizard wrote:Here are some new shots taken recently ...

Re: Been a While
Thanks all for the positive comments. Not too sure about the crop 01af, I prefer more of the wave in the image and the empitness of where the wave is travelling into. I did try to capture some closer shots but the composition didnt feel right. thanks for your suggestion though.

Re: Been a While
Welcome back wave_wizard. Your forum id. is well deserved with your great wave shot. A great sense of the ocean crashing in to the shore. Can't decide which i prefer, cropped or not - great to have the option I suppose
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.
Re: Been a While
All great but especially love the first one, the way the translucency of the wave has been captured and frozen, as David said, gives it a glass like quality.

Superb.
Re: Been a While
Hi wave_wizard,
That wave certainly has a calling. I love its glass-like appearence.
The second and third are lovely in their own ways as well.
Thanks for sharing,
Yildiz

Though the fly shot is good, but doesn't fit well with the first two superb shots. Can't decide which is best. Thanks for sharing.
