Took a walk today before a doctor's appointment. Nothing like seeing beautiful colors to calm one's spirit.

That's a great little window of shots of the fall happenings in your neck or the woods JBT. I like em all, but especially no.3 and the tree columns one, and the last one is a beauty, looks like a painting.

I guess you should always take appointments with doctors but go on a stroll instead. Beautiful shots.

Thanks for the comments folks. We had a tough summer and therefore fall colors were not as brilliant as one would hope for. However, we make the best of it.

I have to say the last is my fave. The pastel look, the two friends or father/son on the shore just give me a good feeling.

Lovely Autumn colours JB, especially love the last one. Everyone is saying it is our best show of Autumn colour in the UK for some years caused by a wet summer and mild autumn. Hope it stops raining for long enough this weekend to grab some more shots before it is all gone.

I seem to have found some good weather this weekend, or been in the right place at the right time (although an even better place would have been Zion NP

).
Took some time out from visiting my parents to visit the New Forest in search of autumn colour. All taken with A550 + Minolta 24-105.
