Good morning, Frank. : ) (it's 09:45 in the morning here)

What a great way to wake up! A birthday commemoration every month ! :D

I don't know what you mean exactlly by a 'gaga father' but Ewan is so lovely and so handsome a baby boy that, he certainly deserves all the adoration and love he receives! : )) You're a very sensitive father for documenting his early days...That's one nice design, by the way!

Why not share his 6th, 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd and even 1st bday photos also?

Good use of the light to highlight his gem-like blue, beautiful eyes...

For the 8th ... I have some idea in head ... but it is usually the pen who take the last decision on the paper.

The "gaga" is a french expression telling that you are giving too much about one things. "Gater, ou Gateux" from french when it is time to speak about parents. . But unfortunately, I think this expression will slowly disappear because of this Lady Gaga phenomenon ..., I was not able to find any dictionary definition in google until the 15-20 pages ...

For other Bday I have uploaded the sequence on pbase (this kind of pictures are more on family facebook now...).

Frank- you definitely have a cute son, and I love you 007 sign for his 7mo celebration.. But.. where's his 'Bond Girl'... Though at that age a toy Aston Martin may be better. :) John

I'm limiting myself to post too much picture of my Boy there ;-), but this morning it was very funny.

It was the 13 month birthday of Evan, and I wanted to create a quick setup :

I hope he will love Lego as his father.

Great pics Frank. Can't believe that Evan is already over 1 year old! My daughter would not have been able to resist knocking over such a tempting tower long enough for me to take a picture :)

I admit Evan is a quiet boy, usually very patient and like to observe and do analysis (the result probably of a mother and father engineer).

Lovely shots, Frank. : )

Evan's baby expressions and looks are fast turning into a toddler's. He's looking very handsome and observant in these shots...

Keep posting his interesting monthlies! :D

Frank, do shoot him with an Alpha in his hands. Someday you'll cherish those shots. What am I talking, probably you have lots of such shots.

Combined with the video took with the Sony Nex-5 ... yes I admit there is a lot of stuff from Evan in the Home Server. I'm actually using a 4TB in Raid 10 to support all that (total of 8x 1TB drive). But, don't worry it is not just baby video and photo.

The difficult problem with our own kid picture and video ... is that we are not able to delete picture when it is time to make some cleaning ...

I'm expecting to buy another set of 1TB this week to survive up to the end of the year :-).

For the moment here is the Dad's setup:

Image

Image

2 x Quad Core Xeon 5410
2 x SSDs for booting and OS
3 x SAS 146GB for Databases (Lightroom etc).
8 x 1TB WD Black for RAID 10 storage.
