Thinks its possibly a male Greg, due to the amount of squabbling it was doing with 2 other Willow Warblers.

How do you guys get the shots so sharp when the bird is in flight? I really struggle with that.

I like the in flight action shot of the Egret aa los banos.
Nice tweety birds ACIPhotos, the smaller they are the harder they are that's for sure. But I think there is no substitute for wallet power when it comes to good bird shots, the lens aa los banos is using is around $12,000 here (new) when I last checked, a tad out of my reach.

@aciphotos, good shot of the tree creeper :)

thanks guys!....i don't get the sharp shots in one outing, i study where the birds fly and i scout the place where i should be on a certain time plus constant shooting to improve my technique, and plus a long lens :wink:

@greg, i only use a minolta 300/2.8, but still a bit pricey considering it's a 20-yr old lens :D .....and a 2x teleconverter :wink:

another raptor that flew very close and investigated me, whistling kite....

Despite being the most plentiful of bops around the place the Whistling Kite isn't as easy as one would think to get a good photo of, unless you get the light in the right angle to illuminate the underside it becomes just another hawk photo. Very nicely done aa los banos.
