Tom, thanks for the warm words and for noticing that addition of the bird, I did that on purpose, cause I wanted something more than a picture of a bird.

Been following this bird for the past 2 years and finally getting to grips with trying to get shots of it. I love Barn Owls have to be in my top 5 favourite birds. And I will get better shots... I WILL hahahaha.

That's very good Owl action Neil, btw we understand, it's not an obsession, to ordinary non birding folk it might seem so, but it, twitch twitch, iiisn't ...so there.

I think it is vulture.

It is called Neophron percnopterus (Egyptian vulture). They are scavengers, dung-eaters.

I'm glad the thread is growing still, with more interesting birds.

Nice shots from Neil, Anna and Dr. Harout! : )

The outing to the local zoo delivered some very nice predator birds and Neil has some neat Owl-in-flight shots. Love these action shots.
