Congratulations again AA. Thats another great cover. It works very well allowing the needed space for the print, & they balanced their colours to complement Polly ;^) Thanks for sharing, it is very exciting.

Well done! aa los banos.
Greg

btw a bop was chasing my seedeaters around yesterday, it chased one into the shrubbery but missed, I saw all the commotion out of the corner of my eye while I was up on the painting trestle, I turned to watch it come out of the bushes empty handed and flew up into a tree about 20' away and sat there for a minute looking at me with it's yellow eyes, I think it was a brown goshhawk...no camera to hand of course.

Hi Anne - a lovely bird portrait - love the catch-light in the eye and the detail in the chest plummage. Really nice bokeh with another bird perched in the background as well.

Thank you Birma, I appreciate your comment. This was a bit difficult for me to shoot birds, but I hope that I didn't screw it :)

Wow that must have been close Anne, taken with a 35mm lens, but it came out very well, nice sharp bop portrait.

I really, really like this shot. I wish that I were the person who took it, as I would be very proud of it.

If the image had contained only the bird in focus in the foreground, it would be a nice shot, IMO. The addition of the bird in the background - in that location and out of focus - turns it from a nice image to an outstanding image, in my eyes.

With best wishes,
- Tom -
