Nice action shots.
If you were using bursts, what percentage of shots were acceptable/successful?

Hi Dr
I was using hi speed for most of the time and took some 400 shots or thereabouts. Of those for one reason or other I reckon i will end up with about 50 or so keepers although not all of them as dramatic as these! Even using burst getting the timing right on the jumps was still tricky.

Hi Caporip,

Congratulations, these are some neat action shots with the 70-400 G, since one might expect it to fall behind a little as being slow but these tell a different story: really nice.

The first one that envelops two rider with the second in focus is my favourite for telling the present sense competition between these competitors.
