Last weekend a few of us from the camera club had an outing to Swaledale, as it was a glorious sunny day.
Here are a few pics, from the visit.
One of the first views as we drove into the dale
It was a very sunny day, and the contrast range was massive, typical stone walls
Another view of barns
We also found some waterfalls (this one is just outside of the village of Keld)

Lovely views Paul. Such a great blue sky. Especially like the waterfall picture . Those stone barns are iconic and hope to have a crack at them one day.

Wow I like those views Paul. I'm fascinated by the sheer amount of stones, I wonder how they got so many, and how did they make them into a squareish shape back then, each one chisled into shape? That's a massive amount of work...amazing.

Very nice pictures.
I like the Tractor in the fist one, it is like if some one has travel the time and put it there .
