Weather In Istanbul:1°C; Feels Like -4°C Wind: From North at 8 kmph Humidity: 63% Visibility: 10 km --------------------------------------------------------------------- My snow-hat goes high up in the air for you Birma and Mark. Teasels and frosty fields look a wonder to my eyes, Birma. Now I know where you found the half-frosted swan of yours too. : )) Mark, lovely waterways and frosty path to take that photography walk early in the morning. Snow was predicted for yesterday but the whole day was shiny and bright and just as I was complaining "where is that snow that was to come for today?!" with the emergence of evening, the Snow Gods complied and snow flakes began to hit hardon the window glass. And it snowed....and I'm happy. : ))) And I shot the shots I craved for since November 2011. Here are three from this morning. : ) Yildiz Attachment:

You have some serious looking frost there as well Mark, it looks cold too my eye. Wow Yildiz your wish came true, white stuff all over everywhere, and lookit Yildiz Park that is something else it almost looks like in Siberia somewhere. I like em all but that first one takes some beating, great shot. Greg

Thank you, Greg. Yep, I'm very happy. A big change on the scenery. : ) You must have put on a woolen coat by just looking at it! (just kidding) Thank you for the kind comments. Thank you, Jcoffin, I like the light in that shot as well. The real scene was much more exciting... : ) Things become smaller when packed into a photo frame as I'm sure you know from experience yourself. Thanks, Yildiz

Hi Artington, : )
The colour palette is very beautiful in this frame. The subtle greys and pastels create an abstract of half-hidden tree trunks. It's like an oil painting.
Thanks for sharing,
Yildiz

Martin, I'm joining the others. At first glance I thought you photographed a painting.

Nice effect artington, very artsy, they would probably look great in a big frame. Nothing special here after a fun day tile grouting, just a photo of the sky at nearly dusk; after being mostly clearish all day some clouds are gathering in the west for possibly another overnight shower. Greg Townsville weather: 25.4|29.8°C, H74%, 17|22km/h ESE|NE. clear-ish. KM5D KM18-200 Attachment:

An other sweet frame, Artington. : )
I like the consistency in the colours...
That's a neat sunset, Greg.
Our rain showers started an hour ago and it's cold here. : ) A little more snow wouldn't hurt either....
Thanks for sharing,
Yildiz
