Regarding CA, Chromatic Aberration, you're right. It's that purple-blue fringing that we see in the close-up shot of your flower. It probably is due to the lens since I found out that my Tamron 90 mm can produce too when the light is at some odd angles.
Some photo-editting software can clean that up completely. Latest versions of Photoshop is one of them.
Thanks for sharing,
Yildiz Yildiz, Thank you for that keen observation. Let me work on it. With best regards, Sury

@caporip: are these flowers suppose to hang like this? Looks a bit 'sad' this way.
Great shots gio. I like the second best. The out of focus green stems make for an abstract scene surrounding the flower, which is portrayed sharp and clear.

Nice Memorial Day photo, JBTaylor. : )
Good one of the Iris, Caporip. Our purple ones on dry ground are still to bloom here... Didn't know they could live in a pond.
Gio, those are very puffy-looking shots of the Chives, with that kind of bokeh and translucency on the petals of the flower.
Thanks for sharing,
Yildiz

According to my wife, this plant has been in the planter for almost 5 years and viola!!! It decided to bloom, just like that. She was so excited to see it bloom that she insisted I capture the moment. Very rarely my wife asks me to take photos.
