A recent trip to Zoo Atlanta. Cloudy, warm and the animals really in form. The monkeys were all the way on the other side of their area and out of range. I randomly fired my flash to get their attention and they came over to pose. A77, Sigma 8-16mm, Tamron 18-270mm and 580 flash. I have totally under estimated the Tamron in the past. I printed up the elephant picture and it looks almost 3D.

Very nice set. I loved the first one best though. :) Good timing catching them in that carefree poses.

Hi Cosmonaut,

The 3D illusion is very prominent in the photos. A very 'warm' set colour-wise and you have composed the photos smartly.
I enjoyed the elephant and the apes as well but I think all the animals have a compelling look.

Thanks for sharing

Yildiz
