Nice B&W shot Ken

Neat one there yet again, Ken.

The nicest part about the photo of such scale is that it's not spoiled by human interference, it's a serene waterscape with not a soul in a hurry or in a vehicle going sosmewhere.

Had some fun this summer with a hotair balloon.

Snapt a sunset shoot the otherday.

DennisG, I wish I could see people a tad in the hot air balloon shot. (I just saw it).
The sunset is very nice especially with Sun atop the tall structure (building?) making
it look like a lamp with a round bulb and no lamp shade.

My wife found this little one at her feet last week while taking out the garbage. No collar, an smelling like pee so badly that she had to change her shirt after picking it up - and I had to bathe it before I even went to work!

We took it to everyone in the neighbor hood who has a Yorkie, and none claimed it. The vet said she had no chip, so another dead end. Posted on Facebook, and got only someone who had lost an older male and someone looking to score a free Yorkie - she couldn't answer age, sex, or where lost, then blocked us. No one posted fliers or on the local lost dog website.

So, it looks like Daisy is joining the 8 chickens, 2 gerbils, 2 other dogs and the snake as pet #14 at our house! Momma loves her, and in one week we got her potty trained!

I think it's a baby black snake. I was cleaning the leaf debris that accumulated on the basement steps up at my Dad's and started throwing the worms left behind up into the grass. Then I noticed that one of them was gray....

He's not much larger than a worm right now, and just shed is first skin overnight, so now he's got a bit more color in him. Here's a shot of it on my dining room table this morning with the car keys fore size reference.
Last weekend when we were there we saw 3 - from 4 - 6 foot long. Black snakes are supposed to make great pets, so we'll see how he does.

Without the keyring, I would have thought it to be few feet long.

Eye contact with the butterfly ha ha. I wonder what the butterfly saw...probably something quite different.

Dusty that shed skin is tiny! I had now idea Black Snakes could start out so small.

Well, I'm no snake expert, at least when they're this small! There are a lot of black snakes in the area, and it doesn't look like the common garter snake, so I'm doing a bit of assuming - you know what they say about that!

Now with one shedding, it's a bit darker, but still not black. I just know it's not a viper, so I'm safe there.
