Some autumn colors

Some autumn colors not allowed in the challenge because I reached the limit.

# 1 - Flares of autumn light

This is what the RX100 does in direct sunlight...

#2 - A stranger amongst the shadows

#3 - Neutral autumn colors

#4 - Central way out

Hi Mark,

I had no idea or forgotten that you owned an RX 100. These are indeed some incredible autumn shots.
I especially enjoyed the first one with the flare and the paths.

Walking with the sound of crushed dry leaves under your feet...must be nice.

I love that leaf litter carpet Mark, I see it in the rainforest here too and it’s a special eco system all of its own, that’s why I like it, but of course you never get sunlight shining across in there like those. Great views all, I was pondering how most would make a great jigsaw puzzle, especially the last with the horizontal strands of gold mixed in and across the abundant but very similar in tone vertical columns, and the first one would be a challenge with all the leaves that look very similar except for size, it would be almost evil.

Thank you both.

And yes, I own a RX100 since a few weeks to replace my NEX system as the latter isn't compact enough for my needs. The RX100 is.

Congratulations on the new camera, Mark. :)

Looks like it's the right walk-around camera indeed. Hopefully it can also get good shots of the birds and creatures that happen to meet you half way in the forest too.

Alas Yildiz, that is not the case. I looked kind of silly taking these shots with the RX100 in one hand while holding a monopod with a580 + VG + 70-400g in the other

Congratulations on the RX100 Mark. Sony are knocking out some corkers are the moment. Love your autumn shots. The one in the challenge with figure is fabulous. :)
