Amazing snowy-spring flower shots.

Especially the lighting of the foreground and the backlighting of sunshine made them very vivid and wonderful shots.

Wonderful Marcell. I am still waiting for a year when we get some spring flowers amidst the snow. Great lighting as always :)

Marcell,
I like the message in the shots. Both past (winter) and future (spring) are in present (photo). :)

With best regards,
Sury

Thanks to all,

You are right Birma. When the winter came back with snow I was really angry, but actually it gave a good opportunity to take these pictures. I have some previous photos with snow, but old, melted, dirty snow.
This fresh snow rally adds to the pictures.

Cheers

Marcell

Not exactly a flower, but close enough in my book ;-)

Shot with the RX100.

Thanks guys! I really like having a wide angle macro option but do macro too little to buy a dSLR lens for it. It helps getting some background in the image as a context. The RX100 does that reasonably well @ 28mm in FF terms. This shot was at f/2.8 and turned out really good.

By the way, if someone know the name of this plant, please let me know.
