This is my daughter's friend who performed her "Arangetram" (debut performance) of
South Indian Classical Dance called Bharatanatyam. These dance poses were taken
with A900 and a rental 70-200 f2.8 with some studio lights. This was my first and only attempt at
studio set up. This was in 2011. The debut performance was quite arduous with the
dance performing for almost 3 hours with just a 15 min. break. These shots were taken
for printing brochures, invitations and display at the auditorium on the day of performance.

Re: Indian Dancer
Very authentic and colourful costumes and make-up and pretty hard-looking dance figures, I must say.
She's delightful and looking like an exxpert of this difficult dance which I believe requires a lot of hand-arm-leg coordination for fluent performance.
Thanks for sharing,
Yildiz
