12 favourite photos of mine taken in 2012

Unread post by Marcell Nikolausz »

Happy New Year to all Photoclubalpha members,
I had a bit of time this week to overview my photos taken last year. I!ve tried to select 10 of my favourites. Finally I selected 12.
You can have a look at time on my flickr site:

I post only 3 as appetizer:

An enjoyable slideshow :) I think the flowering wild garlic is my favourite. Do you use stacking for these flower shots?

Thanks Pat,

I didn't use stacking for those shots but a specific lighting technique (explained on my blog):

I like the first for the moment, the second for the impact the contrast between the subject and background makes. I like the concept of the third a lot. It would have been great if all the LEDs would be hidden behind your fingertips.

Great work man!

Thanks!

They are not leds but long fibers leading the light from my flash (was on my hip). I liked the star effect at the end of the fibers.

Wonderful shots Marcell. I especially like you're macro shots.
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

Thanks for the link, Marcell. You should see the weird and wonderful lighting my husband creates (sometimes with my help) for hyper macro ! He's changed it again since the last time I posted an image of it.

Where can I see this set-up? I'm interested in any weird macro lighting.
