Thanks Birma, and I agree with the blast part Sury, I also took a photo of the two USAF guys (they had side arms too I think) that were there in front of their B52, I put my sister in between them as well for the shot. I thought they were there to basically answer dumb questions so I took pity on them and asked a dumb question too, (seeing as how the planes had a rope cordon around them, but the F16’s that were there at the time didn’t) I asked, “Are you carrying any nukes at the present time?” One of them responded with (smiling broadly) “I could tell you but then I’d have to kill you” :D I said “Well that seems fair ha ha.”
I decided it was best to leave it at that, but suspected there might have been a reason why there was a barrier around them, and armed guards as well.
Thinking about Kelly, I really struggle to imagine a shed big enough to house dozens of B52’s.
Greg

Ps I read a B52 joke once in one of the aviation magazines. It was about a bored F4 pilot escorting a B52 home, over Vietnam I think it was.
The F4 pilot did a huge loop sideways over the B52 upside down and underneath and got back to where he was before off the port wing, he then radioed the pilots of the B52 saying “I bet you can’t do that”
One of whom replied with “No I don’t think we can do that, but we can do something that you can’t” The F4 pilot couldn’t imagine that a lumbering B52 could possibly do anything that he couldn’t do said “Ok show me, I can do anything a B52 can do”
Minutes ticked by with nothing happening, finally the F4 pilot said “When are you going to do something?” The B52 pilot responded with “We already did, we shut down two of our engines” 8)
