Mesa Verde is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and contains numerous remains of dwellings used by the Anasazi people (or their forbearers). The cliff dwellings are a remarkable testament to the tenacity, ingenuity and patience of these early Americans. Thanks for looking.

I like the first one, it shows where it all fits in the landscape, the others are interesting too of course.

Mesa Verde is an inspirational place, but if you were to visit the place I recommend not going there in the summertime. The high desert can still get pretty warm. I hope to come back to visit the park again in the future. There are lots of hiking opportunites and more ruins to explore. And Chaca Canyon isn't that far away - another great place to visit (I wish we had time to stop by that great site as well). Thank you for the comments.
