Zion

Unread post by Almazar80 »

More pictures from Utah (Zion National Park). We didn't get a chance to really see this place, and after the grandeur of Bryce, it was sort of a let down. Then again, this is a place that merits another visit.

Thanks for looking.

Thank you for the comments. For the longest time, I looked at the raw pictures and did nothing with them. Basically, I've been learning post processing slowly over the years but got on a kick lately. So I was able to go back to the images and start doing something with them. Utah is such an inspirational place to visit, I hope to visit them again. And now, I have to process my sister in law's anniversary pictures that I took eight years ago (they are more patient than I am).

If that is a let down then I feel bad for you.
Wonderful shots of what I found to be a magical place.

Bryce is really breathtaking and inspirational. In the same way that Grand Teton National Park is breathtaking and inspirational. Zion was a letdown because we only got to spend five hours before going back to Vegas (which I really don't like). A longer trip will probably elicit a different reaction.

The sharpest memory of Bryce was the sound of the place. Sounds from down in the canyon bounced off all of the walls in a most interesting way.
