In most National parks the wildlife is pretty used to humans. Although you need to still be aware that they are still wild. Those I shot from the car. The bison walked right past my window so close I could of reached out and touched it. The wife was getting nervous.

Oh No I know better than try that. Actually he was some distance away just laying down and he picked up his head and I got him with the 400MM + a 2x teleaconverter lens I had at the time. The photo is cropped up to get him close. I shoot in raw and process in LR and PS CS6.

Elephants at Amboseli National Park, Kenya in 1991. I hope the elephant on the left isn't about to do what it looks like he is going to do to the elephant on the right. This is a family forum.

A stately looking beast, Valery, and a very nice picture capturing its gaze. :)

Here is a picture of a Common Seal (the least common of our two seals around uk shores!).

I liked this picture, despite the harsh midday sun, as I thought is showed off their camouflage when lying on the seaweed strewn rocks. This particular seal watched us very calmly as the boat chugged by it.

Nex 6 with SEL 55-210.

Wild animal that domesticated humans? Smart one. This squirrel on Morro rock bravely approaches me, you can
see my shoe and then lifts itself on its hind legs asking/looking for food. I wonder how long it took for it to figure
out that doing a simple trick will put food in its mouth.
