Re: Anything that floats or it did once
I like the passengers!
There is a certain irony about those wrecks. They are on the River Clyde, once the shipbuilding heart of the world, and there they are, left to die and rot. Meanwhile, their successors still come and go in the river.

Wonderful shots, Graeme and Sury.
Love the wreckage and worn vessels and your rafts with rather pleased-looking residents. : ) Unusual but very nice...
Thanks for sharing,
Yildiz

That is a great pic AA. Reason enough to go to Dundee! Can you look around the ship itself?

Re: Anything that floats or it did once
You can indeed, and it is berthed next to the Discovery Centre, which tells the story of the expedition, and has original artifacts on display.

Richard, 3 shots that are totally unrelated to each other. And all excellent. Well played!
I had a chance tonight - we had a severe storm and a frog arrived in our conservatory. But I forgot to photograph it before catching it and putting it back in our pond.... Mea culpa!

Stunning images! I especially love the B&W.
An even more famous ship: His Majesty's Bark Endeavour.
(Well, it's actually a full scale replica) Greenock Waterfront, River Clyde.

Great images all. Nice to see the TSS Earnslaw from Queenstown, New Zealand.
A view of typical Essex mud with boats that float when the tide reappears.
One from The Historic Naval Dockyard, Portsmouth.
A block of flats afloat_ well that is what it looks like to me
Ossie

I love the mudflats, & HMS Warrior, but as a ship, the block of flats leaves me cold! (Excellent image, mind you!)
"Skylark IX", Balloch, Loch Lomond.
This motor launch was one of the fleet of "Small ships" that took part in the Dunkirk evacuation in 1940. Since this was taken in summer 2012, she has been salvaged, with plans for restoration.

These are some massive hull of ships...
From the historic to the modern, some impressive ships, they are.
