Ethiopian Tribes

Unread post by marc pk »

Over the next few days I'll be posting shots of Southern Ethiopian Tribes.

Today, the Borena people:

They certainly have intersting bone structure and features, Marc.

I also like their traditional clothes and accecories madeby beads or the animal hides, very colourful bead necklace.I wonder if they can actually make such fine-sized beads themselves or if they actually purchased them from the more urban parts of their land. There were a couple of T-shirts too, so they probably have a kind of trade means...

The body was an a900; the lens were either old Minolta G lens (85, 28-70, 70-200) or the Sony 70-400 I.
All are spectacular.

An other cheerful and colourful set of photos, Marc. : )

They appear to be very friendly and welcoming .. or maybe they are used to photographers taking an interest in them.
