Hah, I had to read that twice to understand what you trying to say! I'm not a native english speaker, but I do like dark humor.
Day 5 of 365
"We are heading home from Christmas holidays. This particular winter in Finland has been abnormal because the lack of snow. Usually we have had a lot of snow by January, but for some reason there is none, at least in southern Finland. Scenes and landscapes look black and ugly because there is no white snow to illuminate them. But this suites me fine."
Day 6 of 365 - Still life in darkness
"At daylight everything is obvious and photographs taken in such circumstances often encloses self-explanatory characteristics that makes us interpret them with 'declarative eye'. If you are a fledgling photographer like me and you've shown your work to others you know exactly what that declarative eye is. They glance at your work and immediately state the what it is: 'it's a door of apartment house' or something similar. Photographs are swiftly consumed by the declarative eye and often not given a second thought afterwards. It's a frustrating experience not having a appropriate connection."
Day 7 of 365 - Chicken with rice, anyone?
"If you live in Europe or Nordic countries you will probably recognize this already an iconic red toy oven by BRIO. In Finland many generations of us have played with them and I remember them too from my childhood. There are of course modernized versions of toy ovens in the market with all the flashy lights, sounds and whatever, but I feel that a simple one gets the job done best. It was one of our most wanted Christmas present and we have already had couple of fresh meals done with it."
Day 8 of 365 - Searching around neighborhood
"When I started my photo blog we were on a holiday. Different places, people and situations. Now we're back and there are routines and everyday life to take care of. Routines and obligations tie me into certain territory, which will act as a scenery for my photographic endeavors. Much like everyone else, I can't take airplane to exotic countries or roam in the night looking for photographs. But this limitation is actually very beneficial for my photography. I need to learn how to see emerging opportunities. And I need to learn how to make them. I need to become more deeply attached to territory where I live. Because of that, I'm now searching around my neighborhood and trying to learn how to see new things in scenery that I know all too well."
Thank you for registering here and posting your one a day series here Kalainen - not as much traffic as dPreview, but you will find a little less bluster and more knowledgable and friendly photographers to talk to. Great pictures so far!

Thank you for your kind comments, David. I certainly agree that atmosphere is different here than in Dpreview where it's harder to get to know people. I'm happy that I've found a cosy little home here for my 365-project. Will keep on posting.
Day 9 of 365 - Field of view
"Today it hits. The pressure of finding new ideas and subjects in a tight schedule, which I've created myself. Just after I thought it has not been so difficult to find something to photograph each day, I'm suddenly finding my pockets pretty empty. How do I solve this? By posting something different. Still playing with black, but this time I'm rendering it differently."
Day 10 of 365 - Cleaning day
"I don't know where the ideas come from. Do they come into being from ever rampaging chaos, which lies outside of organized human life? Or do they wait us in the platonic 'world of Ideas', where everything is categorized perfectly like in a library or computer file system? Some say they have a manmade origin, which is tied to history of struggle. Wherever they come from, all I know is that I need them to keep going on with my photo blog."
ps. As it is tenth day, I would like to remind that my blog is open for other Sony Alpha users too. If you are interested in submitting your photograph for others, see: http://www.yearofthealpha.com/photographer/.
