I'll start off. Here is a picture from my first photo outing of the year. After over a day of rain the forecast was for a clear start to the day so I decided to battle through the very muddy fields and woods. It was a bright sunrise and I got this shot, into the light, when the sun was still low, looking across the country side, over the river Avon.

Ah, you finally have a 70-400G too!

Great lighting on this one Andy! You're really mastering landscapes as of late.

Thanks Mark :)

My biggest problem with the 70-400 at the moment is remembering to take it off the camera and use something else as well! :) . I am going to need another bag; it doesn't fit in my current one comfortably.

I know how you feel, the lens is a real deadweight.

Great capture Andy. That lens may be dead weight, but keeps you alive (photographically speaking),
not to mention the health benefits of lugging a heavy lens.

Great foggy sunshine Birma.

Javelin, the snow scene and temps remind me of winter here, although we actually haven't been quite that cold the last few weeks. And of course, that's a great sundog.

Here is another from the early morning in the woods.

Quite a lot of processing on this one but I liked the effect, for me, of being in the aisle of a Church with the sun shining through the colours in the stained glass windows :) .

A99 with SAL 70-400.
