That is one fantastic shot Doc. Make me want to visit. I heard about Ararat quite a bit.

Superb stuff - love the train, Doc's mountains and Tony's bridges :)

Here are a couple from this morning's early morning meadow visit. A fabulous couple of day's weather here - lots of sunshine and therefore I was out early too catch the golden hour.

Not sure if this technically counts as landscape, but here goes anyway!

I was going to go down to South Dakota last weekend to photo this little house on the prarie. As usually happens that life gets in the way and we didn't get there. Today the wife and I got up early and headed south. This is the only one I have processed so far but I wanted you guys to see it. Tomorrow I'll get a few more done so please hold on.

Thanks Sury :)

Love the 'little house on the prairie', Kenneth. A really good find, and I like your picture showing its isolation. Definitely a place to revisit.

This is still the Little house on the Prairie from a different angle and converted to B&W.

Kenneth,
Very nice set. I am sure those houses have fascinating stories if they could talk.
I loved the B&W with its slanted angle. I don't know if it was due to lay of the
land or due to ravages of time.

Thanks Sury! The lean is from time. I don't know how much longer it will be standing. The floor inside has mostly fallen in and what is left will not hold much weight. That is one reason I wanted to get there as soon as I could.

As usual you folks have put up some awesome photos here! Some day I hope to pick up some of the skills you folks possess on this site. I'm trying, but the learning is slow.

Kenneth,
Your last set was an excellent pictorial depiction of a life that was, and that is no more, or will not be.
The ending could be either a happy one where people have moved on to bigger and better things,
or a sad story where they had fallen on ill times. It is a very nice narrative where as a viewer I am
left with the option or even a burden to figure out what is the ending. Without further bloviating, I say
you are no slouch either. :)
