Very nice
A65 16mm-50mm 2.8
Tamron 72E 90mm 2.8 Macro
Sony 35mm 1.8 Sony
Sony 55-300mm and 55-200mm

My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.

With the continued rain over the last week the local rivers, the Severn and the Teme, are still in flood. With a clear evening on Saturday the nearby viewpoint was packed with people taking pictures. Every size and shape of camera and phone was in evidence. A real testimony i think to the popularity of taking pictures for the sake of taking pictures :)

These flooded fields are the same place I was taking Buttercup macro shots in the summer.

I love the soft reflections and the subtle coloring. Quite calming.

Very charming set of submissions from everyone... : )

Birma, for all we know, the water could easily be ice and the pastel quality of colours and the dimming light eternal as though frozen in time ....but in reality this whole thing is a hazard rather than a peaceful nature piece. How photography as an art can supercede the inconvenience of the actual life circumstances!

Thanks for sharing everyone, : )

Thank you Viewfinder, Hefay and Yildiz :) .

Back to the re-processing of earlier photos. This is another A100 shot from 2008. After being a bit grumpy about the A100 files lats week I have warmed to them a bit. This from a trip to the Isle of Skye.

We recently stayed over in a fisherman's retreat on the Breede River near Cape Infanta, South Africa. Attached is an early morning shot looking up the river.

A lot of work for this one, about 22km of bike riding on roads closed for the winter, but worth it in the end.

Peter - Love the colors and the serenity the photo conveys!

Darin - Yes, it was worth it! The eagles by the moon raise it from very good to magical!

Love the last two pictures. Looking at them makes me want to go there. I guess thats one indication of success.
