All shot with an a580 and 70-300G.

Re: Birds 2014
Nothing too fancy about this shot, except that it was made at 28mm with the RX100. These Maderein Chaffinches weren't affraid of humans at all.

And a young Kestrel male sitting in a palmtree.

Re: Birds 2014
The subject separation in the first set is just phenomenal Mark.
The green background was a tad dominating for my liking, Valery.

That's because there is over 400 meters of space between subject and background
Re: Birds 2014
Love the contrasting bird shots Mark. Those kestrel shots are amazing! We're you on a cliff top or a helicopter? . Great pov on the chaffinch shot too.
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

Cracking heron Henry - very sharp looking detail. They have such intense eyes.

Nice shot Henry! It looks like it wants to take off. They are very cautious in my experience.
Andy, I was on the edge of a cliff at about 589 meters above the Atlantic Ocean looking straight down. The cliff was towering above the Kestrels hunting ground.
