I thought I would post a few of the shots I got last fall and winter.
Please let me know what you think good or bad. It's the only way I'll learn.
I hope this works out.

Re: My photos
Kenneth,
Welcome to the forum and thread.
The first one is atypical bird in flight I have seen. I have not seen a BIF
with snow in the background.
Nice vivid colors on the second one. It is amazing how rich the colors are
on that water fowl.
On the third one, I would have liked the background a tad more blurred.
The green element is somewhat distracting. It is not blurry enough to be
not distracting and sharp enough to be an element of the photography.
With best regards,
Sury

Re: My photos
Thanks all for the replies!!! I'm still trying to learn this photography stuff. All my life I've used P&S cameras until I got the a330. Now I also have an a700 and trying to step up my game. There's a lot to learn that's for sure. My interests are wildlife and macro. My wife got me a 100 - 400 Tamron lens for Christmas so I'm waiting for spring to get it out and have some fun.
Again thanks,
Ken

Re: My photos
Nothing like a new piece of kit to get you out here, Ken. Make sure you come back and show us how you've got on with the Tamron.

Re: My photos
I will get some posted as soon as I get some good ones. I'm waiting for spring but the weather just will not cooperate with us.
I also picked up a 1.4 converter to go with the 400mm lens. I'm hoping to get some better shots this year.
