Nice shots Sury and Andy. Andy the sunbeams over the water are just beautiful. Sury, that Oak Canyon shot is great. I was through there once, but it was getting dark so was only able to get a couple of shots before the light was gone.

This shot was take at the town of Calca in Cusco. I didn't have time time to see any of the big sites like Machu Picchu, but I enjoyed the trip just the same. I was only there for the wedding of a friends niece and then it was back to classes here in Arequipa.

Thank you Jeff and love the shot. The darker colors nicely capture the impending fury of the skies.

Over the weekend I went to Lassen Volcano National Park in California, for a hike to Lassen Peak.
The head of the trail is at 8500 feet (2900 meters) and the peak is at 10,500 feet (3500 meters)
and the trail is 2.5 miles (4KM) long and the gradient is around 18% straight up using switch backs.

These are taken with QX10 on the way down.

The peak, taken from around 9000 feet (3000 meters). The last 100 meters or so is almost at 60o steep.

Epic views, Sury. I love the hills disappearing in to the blue distance. The QX10 sounds ideal for mountain climbing. Any views from the summit?

Thank you Jeff and Andy.
Andy, unfortunately no. The camera was with someone who went ahead and did not take pictures with QX10. Only his phone.

It has been a wonderful autumn with spectacular colours on the trees. Sadly my opportunities for going out with the camera have been limited but here are two images from the New Forest that I hope fit in this thread.

The third image is not strictly a landscape but as I like it I thought I would share it.

Excellent set Ossie. I love the first two most, especially the second one.

Beautiful Ossie - the autumn colours are wonderful in your pictures. It seems a good year for the colours, but I am also struggling to get out to take pictures (see Off Topic thread!).

One of my few attempts using ND filter. This is last year in Costa Rica at La Paz.

and a variant where the camera shake is quite evident though I was resting the camera against a bridge post.

Beatific view Sury. Love the stream drawing your eye through to the falls.

The slightly blurred version does have something about it. :)
